Zentyal as Mail-Relay for authenticated Users

Hi all,

i'm going crazy.. maybe you can help me!

I'm setting up a zentyal Server for Mail / Webmail for me and my friends.

The Network configuration:
- Public IP - Astaro Firewall - Private Network (192.168.20.0/24)
The Zentyal has one NIC and is connected to the Private Network as INTERNAL.
The Firewall uses NAT / Port Forwarding for POP(s)/SMTP/IMAP(s).

I configured the zentyal Box for mydomain.de and configured a bunch of users.

I can send Mails from example@gmail.com to user1@mydomain.de
I can check mails with IMAPs or POP3s from the Zentyal.

But i can't send mails with outlook/thunderbird using zentyal as a relay server.

Outlook gets the error message: 554 5.7.1 <example@gmail.com>: Relay access denied

I've read a lot of forum entries, changed a lot of settings in my etc/postfix/main.cf config file - but nothing worked.
Currently i'm using the deafult main.cf

Configuring the internal address range as "relay allowed" is not a good idea - than i can send Mails WITHOUT authentication -> open relay! Great for Spammers


Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?
