AD Sync and samba users
« on: April 09, 2010, 05:09:54 pm »
Hi,

I've gotten my ebox 1.41 server up and running and am using it as an AD slave from our primary windows domain.  The AD users and groups appear to be syncing correctly as far as I can see.  My problem now is that the samba file sharing doesn't appear to be working at all.

I have created a couple of test shares and set appropriate permissions on them (effectively any user in our main domain should have access to the shares).  As far as I can see there are no samba users though as I can see no directory called /home/samba/shares.

The samba logs that appear relevant are below.  Any help on debugging this would be great.  I thought I had gotten over the major problem when I got AD to sync correctly.

Thanks.

The samba log for the connection from my own machine (where I'm testing connecting to the ebox server) is showing
