Excellent news!  Looking forward to the new release!

Is there an upgrade utility from 2.2 to 3.0?  Also, is it necessary to update from Ubuntu 10.04LTS to 12.04LTS?

I tried it with a 2.2 version backup. The formats are different. Doesn't work.

Awesome! The most anticipated Linux software of the year!
Took quite some time to read that impressive changelog   ;D
All the fixes I was waiting for have been included, for example:
- whitelisting network objects for the captive portal
- IP ranges can be used with the firewall
- Make CUPS listen also in virtual interfaces

Will be installing and testing in about two weeks, I'm going to do a clean install, the migration tool is not my favorite software.

Cheers.

no  you can not,  if you search the forums you will find that there will be a migration toole availible  as soon as the development team can garantee a safe *as safe as you can possible expect with so many changes* upgrading process.
All tips hints and advices are based on my personal experience.

If you go to http://trac.zentyal.org/wiki/Document/Announcement/3.0
There is a section that says:

Repositories

Here are the APT source entries for Zentyal 3.0:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/zentyal/3.0/ubuntu precise main
deb http://archive.zentyal.com/zentyal 3.0 main extra

The problem is that there is no http://archive.zentyal.com/zentyal/dists/3.0

I tried to use the bug trac thing to file a bug report but it always says its spam??

The correct repository is archive.zentyal.org, not .com. I've fixed it in the trac. Thanks for reporting it!

Hello,

just a question - we are used to simple RoundCube webmail - does it stay, or is that replaced with Zarafa?

Thanks,
Petr
