Remote administration
« on: September 10, 2012, 01:19:36 am »
Can't administer using https://192.168.1.21:441 (internal), nor the external IP.

I'm running Zentyal 2.2.  On a remote machine, I cannot ping the two network cards that have IP addresses as shown in the Dashboard.

From Zentyal, I have no problems accessing the WAN and I can ping the remote machine.

Help please.

Difficult to help without additional information about your network topology  :-[
My understanding is that you have 2 Zentyal servers.
One, I believe the remote one, has one interface at 192.168.1.21
So far so good but what's about the local Zentyal and what is the network between these 2 servers  ???

I have one Zentyal server using two network cards (internal/external or green/red).
I'm trying to adminster the Zentyal server from another machine on my home network.

OK, clearer now  :)

Why are you using port 441? Default admin port is 443 unless you changed it.
Is 192.168.1.21 the default gateway for other workstations and servers on the LAN?
Can you access http://192.168.1.21 ??? (from the LAN obviously)
