gconftool err at ./configure from source on gentoo [SOLVED]
« on: March 13, 2009, 04:28:50 pm »
Have a brand new gentoo server box & the ease of admining the ebox system appeals to me so I decided to give the source codes a try.  For most of the modules (under each directory) the ./configure command terminates with gconftool error.  Googleing shows this to be a part of gnome desktop?  The server will not have a GUI, that's the whole point of ebox anyway.
The configure command on libebox module terminates with:
checking for perl module Log::Dispatch...no
configure: error: missing Log::Dispatch

The second problem with your package on gentoo is that you do not specify any "USE Flags" info for the modules.  Is there another way to find out which use flags, or is your package dead-set on Ubuntu-only solutions?
