firewalling and NAT

i've just installed ebox on ubuntu 8.10 (using your ppa repos).
now i'm trying to forward http traffic to an internal web server, but i'm encountering some problem.

i have redirected port 80 to internalip:80 and opened everything (just for a test) from the packet filtering section (ACCEPT:any:any:any).
But port 80 is still closed (or the redirection doesn't work).
I moved the web services to another port before trying.

i'd like to check the firewall logs but i cannot see messages querying the log module (it is enabled).

any hints?
