As for retrieving email only the IMAP and POP protocols (and their secure versions) are supported and these are pull-protocols.  What thing have you in mind?

For push-email, integrating Funambol into eBox would be great.

Push email is a very important enterprise feature.
Zimbra has this functionality but only in the Standard and Professional editions which are not free.
So Funambol can be used instead, it is open source, has connectors for Zimbra, LDAP, Gmail, Yahoo, etc and can push emails to every modern mobile phone.

Funambol + Zimbra offers the same functionality as MS Exchange does, but for free.
It would be great to see this integrated into eBox.

You are right, it will be a very nice feature. I've added it to our wishlist, we'll see what we can do Wink
