Computers with Zentyal-Desktop not run Thunderbird.

I am a network administrator. I use Zentyal - Linux Small Business Server. I found a problem on computers running Thunderbird on Ubuntu 10.10. Thunderbird does not open in any User Network.

What can be?

You may try starting the software from the terminal and see the error.

The answer that the terminal is Ubuntu gives me a generic error: Failed segmentation.    (In a free translation from the Portuguese-English). Any idea of the specific problem that can be?

Interesting... BTW do you know why ?
To me, nscd is "only" handeling cache and therefore should only have impact in term of performance (BTW this is something to be discussed at Zentyal server level  ) but I don't understand why this would be required client side (although it may also help in term of performance).

In my case Ltsp client and the server did not run Thunderbird ( Thunderbird startup crash).

As Christian mentioned: LTSP = serverside. His question seems still valid: Why will it solve the problem clientside? (still could be a valuable option to speed uo things clientside)
