I think that puppet is overkilled for SMB, take a look at HW requirementes http://docs.puppetlabs.com/pe/2.0/install_system_requirements.html (they are for enterpriser version, I wasn't able to find the community version requirements)

I agree totally. But also the mechanism and that weird abstraction language based on nodes have me spinning :)

I think puppet is to much also, anyone else?
