webmail still exists as a service. Zarafa is much more than webmail and has huge impact on mail design, so it can't just "replace".

Is there any update to for the migration from 2.2 to 3.0? I've searched through the forums, wiki and documentation with little success on anything referring to the migration or when it may be available.

Probably the best way would be to use the imap tool talked about in the wiki to pull down the user emails.  Run a backup (clone ala clonezilla) .  Format and re-install clean to the 3.0 level.  Configure and re-add the users.  Return the email via the same method to the server.  Downside to this would be having to re-enter all of the users (not feasible on large installs) and the logistics of getting passwords out to the userbase.  This is probably the route I will take but it is easier for me since I use virtualization on my servers.
