My Testserver runs on 2.3 with the not working guest access ok it was a bug.
Then i read the post the rc1 is out so i did a update from 2.3 to 3.0rc1, the update crashes with update on samba 4 and i was not able to fix this problem via webgui, a purge at ssh and a new install zentyal samba install without any problem.
So then i test it with a guest share with no look  :'( :'(
OK downloading the new 3.0rc1 iso, installing it installing samba comes with an error  >:(
OK from the beginning samba install ohhh without any error   :)
Then ad a share with guest access annnnnndddd nothing the share is shown but no access without any password  >:( >:(

I will have a look as I am having probs with the Samba4 module when it comes to group policy objects and general security.
If I try and apply domain security to a client object I just get an error.

Haven't tried server shares or guest shares yet. I will later as not near my machine.

Anybody else having probs with the Samba RC1?

Stuart

I am having issues with it disconnecting shares from clients, after some heavy I/O across the network.

I can't say I have any heavy loadings, copied a few files and all seems to be ok.

If I do things the other way and want a local folder (win7) with domain admins access I can't get to the domain use list.

Have you tried the same or group policy objects?

Many Thanks

Stuart

I haven't gotten to the group policy settings yet, but might as well start ironing those issues out too.
