Fixed Address Enabling Issue & Config Save Issue

All,

I've been using Zentyal 2.3 beta for about 3 days now, first time user, and I've ran across a couple of issues.

1) I lost power today and when my Zentyal server rebooted every customization was gone and had to be re-configured.  No clue how that happened, but would be open to theories.

2) I added a new Network object to map to static DHCP addresses, and when I go to add that object to the DHCP interface, I am getting the following error:
    model /dhcp/FixedAddressTable/* does not exist.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Probably you have upgraded to a new version with changes in the configuration backed, purge and reinstall the packages. I remind you that 2.3 is a development version, not ready for production, I recommend you using 2.2 instead.

I never had 2.2 installed, so I don't think it could have been the result of an upgrade, as this was a fresh install.

On your 2.2 comment, can I run 2.2 safely on a 12.04 ubuntu stock system?

Unfortunately Zentyal 2.2 is based on Ubuntu 10.04 and not Ubuntu 12.04

If you _have_ to use Ubuntu 12.04, you will have to wait until September when Zentyal 2.3 turns into the new stable version Zentyal 3.0

So there are 2 options: Have a look at the new BETA 2.3 on Ubuntu 12.04 (and expect bugs and problems, but also a LOT of new neat features) or use Zentyal 2.2 on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.

You can either choose to use the official ISO installer for both 2.2 and 2.3 versions. Or install the packages on top of a vanilla Ubuntu server. (10.04 LTS for Zentyal 2.2 packages, 12.04 LTS for Zentyal 2.3 packages)

Thanks for the follow-up.  I'll continue to use the beta for now.  Where can I submit bugs such as the one that I found?

Bugs can be submitted in TRAC: http://trac.zentyal.org/newticket
Please give as much info as possible, especially Milestone (3.0 for 2.3beta) and module.
