Switching modes or installing other parts
« on: June 10, 2012, 09:55:28 »
I am testing Zentyal as a replacement for my aging ClarkConnect box, so I installed as Infrastructure. Once testing is complete, I will need this server to not only be my e-mail and web, but also the firewall, router, DNS, etc. How do I added these other roles or switch from the present?

It is easy to add modules or remove modules in Zentyal.

Just go to the webinterface where you manage Zentyal. From your LAN it is https://<Zentyal IPaddress>
There you are prompted for login. Use the account you created when you installed Zentyal the first time.

Then you will land on the webgui administration page.
Follow the online documentation: http://doc.zentyal.org/en/software.html#management-of-zentyal-components

Be aware that after adding a module you have to activate the module in Core section - Module Status.

After clicking around I finally found the install.  The path is Core->Software Management->Zentyal Components.
