Well, in a future installation, the first that I will perform under Zentyal (before lenny always stable), you want to integrate into the local network a wireless network almost exclusively for internal use. Zentyal brings a lot: dhcpd, fix address, firewall, dns and the captive portal (although I prefer chillihotspot by several facilities that I have and I find it comfortable to work with it).
But if it were integrated setting allocation interface, SSID, ESSID, channel, country, operation mode (a / b / g / n), the maximum authorized stations for connection of WPAx-PSK/AES, WPS , WEP, and very important for this or any other WiFi installation; acl's whitelist / blacklist-based MAC, and more parameters that can vary, Zentyal panel would give independence to the employer / administrator to change these parameters.
I can always develop in a web application under SSL option, an editor of these parameters that are read from mysql, but would not be as "clean".
